Birthdays at Johnson's Farm

PACKAGE INCLUDES:
2 hours use of a tent in our picnic area.
Party Hostess available to assist you during your party.
A private hayride around the farm.
Seasonal crop picking or activity.
A visit to the Animal Farm to feed the animals. We will supply the feed.
Admission to Discovery Barnyard playground.
NOTE: We do our best to predict the crop picking schedule but sometimes Mother Nature has her own plan. In the event that the crop you are scheduled to pick is not available, we may substitute another crop or activity. You also have the option of rescheduling, if you are flexible with the date and time.

• Up to 20 guests $549.00+tax
• Each additional group of ten guests is $189.50 + tax
• Parties over 60 people will require two tents at an additional charge.

PAYMENT:

Your final headcount and payment are required no later than 48 hours before your party. We will apply your deposit to your final bill. Children under 12 months are free. Final payment can be made by phone or in person. You can also email reservations and request it be added to your original booking. We accept MC, Visa, and Discover Cards as well as cash. We do not accept American Express in our market or personal checks.

RAIN POLICY:
The tents and wagons will provide shelter for moderate showers so the party can go on. Rain dates can be requested, but rain date times may be restricted, and certain seasons will have restrictions. If rescheduling to your rain date is not possible, deposits are refundable

FOOD:
We can cater your party or you are welcome to bring your own food. We do allow outside catering/pizza deliveries. Our catering menu will be emailed to you and orders can be placed by phone or email. Catering orders will be delivered to your party tent. Outside cater/pizza deliveries should arrive 30 mins before the start of your party and must enter the farm from the Hartford Rd. entrance. Deliveries to the market are not allowed.

WHAT TO BRING:
You may arrive 30 minutes prior to your start time to decorate your tent area. The picnic tables will be clean, but you may bring tablecloths if you prefer. Our tables are 8” picnic bench style with attached seating. You will need to bring paper products / cake / candles / and utensils etc. Sorry, no balloons or piñatas.

REMINDERS:
The reserved picnic space is yours for 2 hours. All guests and belongings must be removed at the end of your reserved time.
Everyone must remain seated on the hayride. No throwing of hay on the wagons.
Absolutely NO alcoholic beverages allowed on the property.
No balloons or piñatas.
No BBQ grills.

PARKING:
When sending out your invitations please inform your guests to enter Johnson’s Farm from the Hartford Road Entrance (across form Lenape High School) and park in the field lot adjacent to the Tented Picnic Area. A facility map is supplied for your invitations.

2A:42A-10. Notwithstanding the provisions of any law to the contrary, an owner, lessee or occupant of agricultural or horticultural land shall not have a legal duty to protect a person who is invited onto the land for the purposes of picking or taking agricultural or horticultural products from the natural risks or hazards that are inherent characteristics of agricultural or horticultural land, and shall not be liable if such a person invited onto the land is injured because of any natural risks or hazards that are inherent characteristics of agricultural or horticultural land.
